The Monster turned 2 on the 8th December, 2009 and boy, has she grown! Wel always like to embarass her on her Birthday, and for that, she gets a steak cake!

Now a fully corded pulli, with her coat still growing, everything gets attached to her coat, so we are constantly pulling bits and pieces out of her coat, Oct/Nov are the worst months, as its bindi season, and she is like a vacuum for bindis, they all get attached!

Cookie Monster was born on the 8th December, 2007, at Rustufarion Kennels, and came home in Feb 08 to her new home. A week was spent at home with her, till i had to go back to work, and she was left in the care of Bruiser, the Scottish Fold cat to look after her. A very welcome addition to the family, training and play became the name of the game from an early age. Simple things done at home, such as making her sit before any meals, and making her sit or drop before tossing her a toy or a ball because daily occurences.
I sincerely regret not crate training her from an early age, as anyone that was ever around at training could hear her going off her brain, barking her head off, to get out of the crate. Thankfully, she is no where near as bad as she was, and is much more settled in. Cookie Monster is happy so long as she is busy, if we are ever at training, and she has to wait, everyone knows about it, she is constantly barking over the trainers instructions, and everyone definately knows she is around!

A head strong breed, they need lots of positive training, and constant reinforcement of the behavious we want to see. Cookie Monster is happy so long as her family is around, and in her home enivronment, loves to meet and greet strangers. Outside the home, she has her people and doggy friends, but can be suspicious of people she hasnt met properly. Bribes usually do the trick, and she will be your friend for life!
Never having owned a ball dog before, this was a nice surprise, as if i am ever too tired to play properly, i can throw her a ball, and get the energy out of her!
A pleasure to have around, but if she doesnt get her way, you certainly hear about it! her mouth is always on high pitch, as anyone who has met her can tell you!
