When Cookie Monster came along, i knew i might have an issue with my other animals and Cookie Monster.  The breeder Cookie came from, had ducks running around his property, and the puppies hadnt damaged any, so i took that as a good sign!  Cookie met her first bunny within hours of being in her new home.  Rivkah Mini Moke, met cookie for the first time as well, running around the house, with cookie following, trying to figure out what this black fluffly thing was doing hoping, not walking like dogs do.....

They had a ball running around, of course, supervised!

Since then, Cookie is allowed to come with me when i feed the bunnies, she isnt allowed access to where the bunnies live when i am not home, but when its feeding time, she comes out with me to help, well she thinks she helps!  sticking her nose in all the bottom cages, eating rabbit poo, licking bunnies, and checking out new arrivals, sometimes i think she cares more about the new litters than the mums do!

My bunnies, i am proud to say, are mostly cookie/bomb proof!  I think it really helps having cookie around, as the babies learn from their mums, that cookie is not a threat, and they even come up to cookie to say hello!  It really helps the bunnies when they are at shows, as they dont react to loud noises, and lots of things going on around them as much as some bunnies do!  Dont forget, bunnies can die form fright, so having cookie around helps them to aclimitise well.

Even when the bunnies get out for a run around, yes cookie chases them, but she has never harmed one.  Always carefully monitored by me, if i see any signs of trouble, i call Cookie back to me, which i can tell you, isnt always successful, but getting better with age.  Imagine calling a dog away from the greatest play toy they have ever had!

I have even gotten Cookie to the point, that when she jumps in a cage to say hello, i can get her to do simple obedience in the cage, getting her to sit and drop, all while bunnies run around her.

Of course, Cookie;s coat generall ends up in a mess, but i would rather have a happy puppy, than a spotless clean one, hence a black dog suits me!
